Lagos, Nigeria - May 13, 2024 - The Association of Podcasters and Voice Artists (APVA) recently hosted a vibrant hangout event at JJT Park, Alausa, Ikeja, bringing together audio creatives from across Lagos, Nigeria. The event, organized by Richard Coleman, the Nigerian Country Representative of APVA, served as a platform for members to connect face-to-face, network, and share insights into the world of podcasting and voice acting.

Held on May 11th, from 12:00 noon to 5:30pm, the APVA Lagos Hangout aimed to bridge the gap between virtual interactions and real-life connections within the audio creative community. Attendees had the opportunity to meet Richard Coleman, a seasoned podcaster and voice-over artist, who graced the event with his presence.

The highlight of the hangout was an engaging Q&A session, where participants delved into the intricacies of podcasting and voice acting. Discussions revolved around the challenges encountered in the industry, as well as the moments of triumph that have defined the journey of each creative individual.

Looking towards the future, attendees expressed unanimous excitement for the next edition of the hangout, with hopes for even greater turnout. Anticipation also grew for the upcoming APVA Awards, as nominations continue to pour in.
